So, i was thinking that now that IMS has a open date with F-1 gone, wouldn't it be a great place for a Super National for Great Lakes in 2008. I mean entries would be huge, drivers from all over would come just to race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway !

Ya and how much will Tony want from us? No way he lets SCCA in. We can't afford him and he wouldn't have us. It was flated as a site for the Runoffs but they wanted way too much money from us. I'd like to race there too but its just not in the cards.

It would be my humble
It would be my humble opinion that Tony has no love lost with SCCA. If you remember, his nephew had quite a go-around with the club the year after he won the Runoffs in FF. He came out with a FA car and had some real 'issues' with the rules of the road. Added to costs, it would seem to me to be prohibitive even for the Runoffs as many on other boards are discussing.
