new team starting

hi everyone , im new to the site . the main reason for joining this site is im starting my own race team this winter for next year , but i really have no clue about scca racing , i do know i want to run in a production class . my cousin skip has been involved with scca racing for several years now , but hes gone big time so its hard for him to help me as much as i need . ill take any and all advice from any scca racer that is willing to share info with me . thanks to everyone who helps me .

building my own car is not a problem , ive been building different styles of race cars for the past 10 years . i just need info on engine rules and whats allowed for body mods .

alright , everyone , my cousin has talked me into running in the spec miata class . so now im looking , for a used spec miata race car , or a junk yard miata , id like to get my hands on a 91 or 92 miata .

Have you tried the Spec Miata website (http://www.specmiata.com/)? My betis there is a classified section there. I know there is a forum on the site as well for technical questions. You could contact WMR's tech inspector (Chris Peet) as he is well versed in SM cars. Email me and I can send along his email address.
