what course configuration do national events use at mid-ohio for 2007?

just curious. i have driven regional races and they typically always use the chicane at the keyhole. i think once several years ago we did one saturday and the other Sunday.

when i have spectated at the runoffs, they use the "pro" course. what do national events during the year run, keyhole or "pro"? or is up to the region hosting to decide.

i am curious in part due to nasa announcing they will run the "pro" course for their nationals. not sure if some nasa drivers would cross over to scca for more opportunities to run the "pro" course.

Typically, SCCA Club Racing

Typically, SCCA Club Racing Nationals at Mid Ohio use the old course with the chicane at the keyhole. The "pro course" was used for the last few Runoffs to take away some of the advantage that local drivers might have. What course is actually used depends on the agreements the individual clubs racing at Mid Ohio have with the track.
